When you use the ReelRender combo builder and choose to submit your setup, we collect your email address along with the rod and reel you selected. If you submit a build to the Community page, we collect the display name, build title, description, and gear selections you provide — this information is displayed publicly. All information is provided voluntarily by you. We do not collect any personal data automatically.
How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely to follow up on your combo submission and to contact you about your selected setup. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third parties. We do not send unsolicited marketing emails.
Third-Party Services
ReelRender uses Resend to deliver transactional emails. When you submit a combo with your email, that data is processed by Resend in accordance with their privacy policy. This site is hosted on Vercel. We participate in affiliate advertising programs: product links may direct to Amazon.com (via the Amazon Associates Program) or Sportfish UK (via Rakuten Advertising). When you click these links and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of Amazon, Sportfish, or Rakuten. Community builds you submit are stored on Vercel KV (a managed Redis service by Vercel) and may be publicly displayed on the Community page.
Data Retention
We retain your email address and combo submission only as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry. You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing us directly.
Analytics
We may use anonymized web analytics to understand how visitors use the site — such as which pages are visited most. This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users.
